Our Mission


At La Roche Academy of Dance, our mission is to bring the art of dance
to students of all levels through a supportive environment promoting
confidence, self-accomplishment, and physical well-being. 

We strive to inspire each dancer to reach their highest potential while developing
their dance technique, discipline, and artistic expression.
 
Through quality training and structure, we hope to pass on our passion as
our students become family in the world of dance.

We would love for you to become familiar with our teachers at La Roche!

All of our dance instructors have collegiate dance education and training.
Many of our instructors are also past or current professional dancers, dancing as members of professional ballet, modern, and contemporary companies both locally and abroad.

​What does our studio offer?

At La Roche, we offer weekly dance classes in a variety of techniques and levels.
Ages range from 15 months to 18 years, plus  adult dance & fitness classes!


For students looking to take their dance training to the next level,
we also offer two Companies:

Our Performance Company 
is a pre-professional ballet based company providing lead roles in our
Winter and Spring Recital productions.

Our Competition Company
is our competition team that begins rehearsals in the Fall,
and competes in 4 Spring Competitions throughout the Denver area.

*We will review the information for the Competition Company  requirements and rehearsal process, competition dates, answer questions, etc. at the Parent Meeting!

​*ALL dancers interested in auditioning MUST have a parent attend the meeting. Dancers are  welcome & encouraged to attend the meeting as well!

​Performance Company dancers will perform additional/lead roles in the Spring Recital 's feature presentation of
Beauty and the Beast!

​Saturday, January 24th, 2026


Arrival Ballet 2-4: 10:00am
Arrival Ballet 5-6: 10:45am

Ballet 2-3 Audition: 10:15am-11:30am
Ballet 4 Audition: 10:15am-12:00pm
Ballet 5-6 Audition: 11:00am-3:00pm

*While ALL weekly dance classes will have a
dance in the Spring Recital,   ballet students in levels 2-6   ​are also invited to audition for lead roles with the Performance Company*

​Spring Break:
Studio Closed

The studio will be closed for Spring Break from Saturday, March 14th  - Sunday, March 22nd.
​We will not have any classes, rehearsals, or office hours during that time.

Our Starlighting Performance is November 22nd,
at 4:00-4:30pm at 3rd and Wilcox!

The Studio  is CLOSED Thursday, 3/14/25.

Following the school closures for DCSD  due to the  weather conditions, 
 the studio will  be CLOSED Thursday for all  classes!
